Refund - Lost in Shipment


I purchased an IPOD from ECOST.com for the amount of $279. Unfortunately,when the package came, the box was empty. I have called them daily for 3 months and have talked to multiple customer service representatives. But no resolution has been found. I filed a dispute with my credit card company. I filed a complaint with UPS. To date, no one has accepted the responsibility or refunded my money. I am quite upset with ECOST.com who advertises heavily on the web and also with UPS who has told me that their relationship is with the shipper... and since I am the recepiant, they will not help me. I am an elderly woman and this was a present for my grandchild. I live on Social Security... and very distressed.
