Stay sane, avoid eCost - Timex watch

Bought a wristwatch at a reasonable but nothing=special price. It arrived with a completely dead battery. THREE e-mails to "customer service" were ignored. Closer examination of the band shows dirt typical of body oils and sweat. It was a used watch! By the way, the chances of collecting anything advertised with a manufacturer's rebate are slim.
